Macerator pump

Postby Bkmmjj31 » Sun Jul 11, 2021 9:38 pm

I installed a new macerator thinking that this was the issue. But it doesn’t work. I have 12V power to the lines when I turn on the switch to those wires but when I connect the macerator to the wires then I have no power. I thought maybe a dry switch in the macerator but I also filled the fish wells with water and still have nothing happening. Anyone have any ideas? Please help.

If I were to guess, I would say that you have a bad connection somewhere. The connection is good enough for a light or meter, but not strong enough to run the pump.

Yea I'd be looking for a bad connection also, and maybe the ground. If you get 12 volts at the switch and at the pump are you using the ground for the pump or just a neg on a batt? also you might just have a defective pump
