Should I be using fuel additives in my 2018 Suzuki 200 4. If so what would be the best ones to use?

If your not having a problem I would say no. Then again it never hurts to run some injector & fuel system cleaner through it, I would say see what the factory people say about it. In my boats I've always run a fuel system cleaner by lucas oil, other people I know run sea foam and there's lots of other ones out there

I have been using Valvetex Marine fuel for the last 5 years in a Yamaha 200 4 stroke
Without any issues. It already has all the additives in the fuel. The only thing I add is Yamaha ring free about every other 50 gals or so, because any Yamaha trained mechanic I talk to swears by it.
I hear about a lot of boaters having fuel problems, but so far I feel like this Valvetex has been good to me.

JMcBass: thanks for the scuddlebut I think I will try the ring free. First Ive heard of it. The Valvetex Marine, must be a marina fuel only.
Thanks again.
