View the latest post Attachment(s) Interior Panels

Does anyone know of a source for replacing interior panels. The existing fiberglass ones are badly beat up and are barely holding on with screws.

View the latest post Attachment(s) 2000 330 Coastal Windlass ground wire

Just acquired this boat 6 mod ago and have both 7.4s running.

I am trying to revive the windlass, I have 12.65v to windlass but when I jump contacts I get nothing, even when I go right to the windlass lugs. Tried a loadtester and it won't even read. I load tested the positive windlass wire from the battery switch panel by the stairs and it is good. I believe I have a bad ground connection but do not know where the black windlass ground terminates? Buss bar behind house panel doesn't seem to have that wire. I checked the batteries and they only have the large 0g batt cables, no smaller ground cables.

Anyone know where the windlass ground is landed?

View the latest post Attachment(s) 290 Coastal Parts!

So trailing my 2003 coastal 290 my front slide of the hard top over the center window section managed to come in pinned and air mailed somewhere on I75. My mistake should have had it pinned in the rear position but now I am in need of a new one. Any info on getting one or having one made would be greatly appreciated. I will be calling Wellcraft in the morning but being an 03 I do not have that high of hopes. So any info on getting one or someone else that has been down this road, any info would be greatly appreciated.

View the latest post Airslot repair or sell?

Hi all

I bought a decent 165 last year and used it most of 2024
Summer. Recently, I pulled up the old carpet only to discover the former owner had covered over the rotten floor with construction grade plywood.
I removed a lot of it and found out that the stringers are also rotten inside their fiberglass casings.
My question is how much work is involved fixing all this stuff and putting down new floor or is it better just to try and sell the boat to someone that’s willing to spend the time to get it back into shape. Thanks for your thoughts and opinions.!

View the latest post 2004 330 coastal diesel tamd 63p 370 hp props

Hello All , I would like to know what others are running for props on there vessels . presently I am running 21-22 four blade props on my vessel and dont seem to be getting enough cruise speed .Currently props are off the boat and at prop place for tuning . I cruise at 2550 rpm and am only getting 20 to 21 knots . Is this normal or can props be tuned for more speed at cruise ? wot is about 2900 rpm and speed about 25 knots . Has anyone on here had props tuned to get a cruise speed of 24 to 25 knots ? If so how did you do it ?

Maxwell Freedom on 290 Coastal

Anyone know where the relay box is located for a Maxwell 500 Freedom windlass in a 2002 Wellcraft 290 coastal?

The circuit breaker is located over the main battery switches that required me to almost lay on my belly to find it!

Thanks
