Hello all, looking at possibly purchasing a 1990 Wellcraft Corsica 3700. Going to go look at it tomorrow but all the photos seem to indicate a very well and clean maintained boat. Kinda fallen in love with its little breakfast bar set up in the cabin.

The owner did say there were 2 things notably wrong as of now. Front AC doesn't work and the refrigerator doesn't work. I am a DIY kind of guy who doesn't mind putting in the work to fix things and learn. I'm mechanically inclined, so would these be fairly easy fixes for me?

Is there anything I should take extra note of to look for or at when I go see it? Anything that I should know of to deter me from purchasing it?

I'm pretty excited to check it out. I'd be coming from a 95' Rinker FV 265 to a 3700 so it'll be a big upgrade and I'm sure a fun learning curve.

Had a 1988 Wellcraft 2800 Coastal with 2 5.7L V8 Mercruiser BlueWater inboards. Had the boat for 21 years, bought from original owner and sold in 2021. The boat was bought with a retractable aluminum frame and blue bimini, which I removed (I like the sun) and still have. The dimensions are Width=94" Height=70.5" and Depth when open 73.5". I am looking to give away the frame and bimini for FREE, but it has to be picked up in Manasquan, NJ. Attached are pictures of the frame and bimini on and off the boat. My name is Mike, and I've very recently purchased a 2004 Riviera, with twin Volvo Penta TAMD75P engines 480hp each. This has been a big jump for me from a 20ft Whaler CC!
I'm based out of Vancouver BC and will be using it to cruise and fish up the BC coast - avid fisherman.
This boat was on blocks for 3 years before I came along and I'm the 3rd owner. The engines had 1500 hours on them and the mechanical inspection was very good. I'm having the after coolers and heat exchangers rebuilt now and a few other odds and ends taken care of. Rest of the boat is in excellent condition - gel coat in great shape, upholstery also great shape. I'll be updating chartplotters and radar this fall. Really very excited about the purchase and would love to hear from others who have experience with this model. Ty!
