View the latest post New to this forum and looking for a used walkaround

Greetings. I don't want to sound like a dork, but Happy New Year. Yes I'm new to this forum, however maybe I'll find my next boat here. I'm looking for a used walkaround in the 23 - 27' range. I do prefer outboards. i live in Oakland, CA. but I've accepted the fact that my boat search might end up in florida as no other state has the sheer volume of used boats for sale. Fortunately for me 3 of my good friends are all ready to do a cross country trip and make it an adventure. So there you have it. Drop me a note if you have a walkaround style for sale, or just say hi.

View the latest post Coastal 232 Bow Eye

Hi... I have a 2006 Wellcraft Coastal 232. I need to replace the bow eye but can’t seem to find anything quite the right size. Does anyone know the manufacturer of the original bow eye? Thanks in advance for your help!

View the latest post 2012 Coastal 290 - Overboard Discharge Y-Valve location

Hi everyone,

2012 Coastal 290 here. Attempted an overboard discharge recently (20 miles out) and it failed with the pump triggering the breaker in the switch. Got some feedback over at the TheHullTruth that the boat should in fact have a Y-Valve somewhere that needs to be set to enable the overboard discharge.

I have invested a good amount of time looking for said valve behind every hatch and access cover to no avail. Does anyone have experience with this particular boat around this model year? Any idea whether the boat in fact has said valve and if so where it is located?

Thank you!

View the latest post Engine Access for Maintenance

I own a 2005 330 Coastal. Is there a better way to access the engines rather than removing the center cover and sliding the seats left or right? Can they be removed or lifted?

View the latest post Attachment(s) Portofino Wing Vent Gasket

I'm looking for the gasket that is used to seal up the wing/side vent windows on the Portofino. I called around and Taylormade says they can't identify it.
Does anyone have any information about this gasket? It's foam. It goes in the the little window with the D-handles. I assume Taylormade made the windshield but they are looking for a model number. I can't imagine it's not Taylormade, they have the external hinge gasket, they have the D-handles, they have the adjuster arms, but no gasket. The website shows 3 foam gaskets, but none are what I have. Does anyone have a model number of their
Portofino windshield or manufacturer?
