I'm Peter and I'm a newbie boater. My wife and I are the happy owners of a previously loved 1984 Wellcraft 3400 Gran Sport. She's in rty good shape with limited prep work for a launch Spring 2020.
We're staying in her current home Marina for the coming season so we can learn the ropes on a large lake (Georgian Bay off Lake Huron in Ontario Canada) before we consider trying to use it in Toronto Harbour (closer to home) sometime in the future.
Looking to get any and all training we can over the winter and applying it with a training Captain in the Spring. All advice and tips are very welcome.

Hoping to get some sound advice/directions on purchasing a boat via a Boat Broker. I’ve lined up the following:
Surveyor (pending his findings, I’ll make my decision) thus far everything appears to be right with the boat. Broker has supplied me with over 200 pictures and has done 3 FaceTime videos (1-sea trial, 2- walkthru, 3- engines & generator running)
I’ve also got a licensed and insured shipping company lined up. My question is how does the transaction work with the funds? I’m not going to be able to physically view the boat, so as a result I’m also not going to be able to be there to do the deal, so I’m at somewhat of a loss on exactly how this type of thing works. I know that it’s done all the time, just not sure about what exactly is needed. Maybe someone out there has done it before and would be kind enough to shed some light on it for me. Thanks!

I have a 2001 Wellcraft Martinique 3300 and am having the cockpit seats reupholstered. When removing the seats/cushions, the molded in drink holder cubby in the corners of the seat cushions got damaged. I am looking to find replacements (new or used) for these or find a way to have them made... Any suggestions? Im hoping to find a salvage yard that might have a martinique 3300 that I can get them from...

Hi, I purchased my first boat, 2000 well craft sportsman 210 (200hp johnson) last summer. After having it a few days I started to notice things broke and or missing. I was hoping to find a forum where I can ask about my boat and motor. Live well and fish boxes stopped pumping out, freshwater pump missing, trim tabs don't work, throttle cable loose, salt water wash down don't work. Motor runs good, compression is at 90 psi for 5 cylinders 82psi on one. I am very handy but not sure if these things are worth fixing or should i look into another boat. I would appreciate the help, Mark.

Good evening, I purchased a beautiful 86 coastal with twin inboards. I’ve never had a boat this size with a head shower 2 water tanks dock power and everything else a boat of this size has. So I’m a bit apprehensive on how everything actually works and the proper ways to winterize and maintain.
I’m looking for any literature or actual owners manual for this particular boat. I’ve looked online on the Wellcraft site as well as the sites that Wellcraft sent me to to check their stock.
No luck unfortunately.
If anyone can lead me in the right direction or actually has one, that would be much appreciated.
