View the latest post Macerator pump

I installed a new macerator thinking that this was the issue. But it doesn’t work. I have 12V power to the lines when I turn on the switch to those wires but when I connect the macerator to the wires then I have no power. I thought maybe a dry switch in the macerator but I also filled the fish wells with water and still have nothing happening. Anyone have any ideas? Please help.

View the latest post Fish Box macerator pump

New to the WBO Forum. I have a 2006 Wellcraft 330 Coastal and the fish box macerator pump does not run.
Anyone know how it's wired or is there a switch somewhere I haven't found. The Wellcraft manual does not give much info on this.

Thanks

View the latest post New Fishfinder installation

Hi All, I recently bought a 2007 fisherman 180, the original fisher finder is old and dead, I just bought a brand new
Humminbird, Helix 7, CHIRP MSI GPS G3N, and like to replace the old one, since I am a new boat owner, never installed fish finder on a boat before, I watched some youtube videos, but they do not show where to pass through the cable from the transom area to the console area, for wellcraft fisherman 180, I am wondering if there are some drawing or something to show the route to lay my cable through the inside of the boat, does anyone have the experience and has done similar installation for fisherman 180?

Any advice is welcome.

Thanks

View the latest post 91 232 eclipse floor storage not draining

New owner of a1991 232 Eclipse. I was washing out the floor storage compartment under the teak hatch and notice it is not draining. I pushed a rod down the hole and it is not clogged but water is not draining to the rear. The water level is just to the top of the drain hole. I also pushed a metal rod up the hole from the engine compartment up under the fuel tank about two feet and no luck.
I assume the passage is blocked just in front of the fuel tank or under it. Any suggestion?

Also, I assume the hose connection in this well if for a water bladder to supply the sink?

The boat is in good shape but I want to do some upgrades after the season. I want to remove the carpet and replace with removable snap in area rugs or some other waterproof material. Has anyone done this? How is the fiberglass under the rug finished?

Thanks in advance, I’ll be here often as I get to know the boat better and hope to contribte in the near future.

View the latest post How to disconnect both batteries

Must I disconnect from shore power to disconnect batteries? I need to have them checked and probably replace them both. Is there a proper way to do this so I don’t cause any issues

View the latest post Attachment(s) Rebuilding 88 St. Tropaz 32'

Hi there, great forum..
I pick up my 88 32' St Tropaz a couple of months ago.
In process if rebuilding both 454 engines.
Thousands of crack below the water line so I have been sanding off almost all of the gell coat getting ready to paint.
Will also be rebuilding the Owen generator last.
I am going to clean and fill every through hole in the stringers below deck.

No real idea how the head and storage tank works. Some one told me the tank get vacuumed out at the marina.

The circuit board under the step is shot. But I haven't been able to find one to replace it yet.

The boat did come with a full set of manuals so that's been pretty handy.

It's a beutiful boat and I am really exited to get it out to an ocean somewhere, as I am quite landlocked.

Nice to meet you all
James

It was just compounded and waxed. All new portlights. Has 3 freshwater sinks, livewell, 2 fishboxes, raw water wash down, and fridge. Johnson 200 twins. Compression is 120-130 on all cylinders and was recently serviced. Trim tabs. It is a well loved boat. We just took it to Bimini last month but we have decided to downsize a little. Asking 42500 OBO. Trailer included. It has new axles, brakes, and tires.

View the latest post Attachment(s) Is this something to be concerned

I just bought a used 2007 fisherman 180, I found a very small tiny crack at the hull bottom as shown, is this something I should concern? not sure this only happened to the gelcoat or it is deep into the fiberglass, anyway to fix this to prevent it from become a bigger concern?

Thanks
