View the latest post Wellcraft 2017 241 Rusty Screws on compartments

I have a 2017 241 bay boat. I have noticed the screws on the boat compartments are rusting. These should be high grade stainless steel screws. Has anyone else had this issue?

View the latest post Newbie Help Required

Greetings to you all from Bahrain. I have recently purchased an Airslot 24' year unknown which is in relatively good condition. Its hull only so I'm strating from scratch but am very excited to get her back into the drink. My problem is that according to the licensing authorities out here, they have allowed for only 2 X 115hp OB motors. What I've seen on the original brochures etc is that they were rated up to 2 X 140hp OB's. I've spent hours searching for owner's manuals or boat spec sheets on these models but have come up short so far. Can anyone advise me as to where I can get such info so that I'm able to supply the authorities with some kind of certificate / manual that can prove my claim. Would appreciate any help

View the latest post Attachment(s) Bilge pump of my 2007 Fisherman 180

Hi All, I bought a 2007 fisherman 180 recently, I tested the bilge pump by turning on the switch on the console panel, but no noise heard, the horn and the live well switches work since they both can make noise, I am trying to locate where the bilge pump is, attached please find the picture I took at the end of the boat in the stern area, which is next to the outside drain plug, is this the bilge pump with the green handle on the right side? if it is, what is the other object next to it with white label on the left side?

also from the user's manual I downloaded from the web for fisherman 180, it says:

All 12-volt power is distributed to the 12-volt accessories
through individual circuit breakers located in the head
compartment near the battery switch

so where is the head compartment located? I can see the 12V battery located inside here, is that head compartment? I feel confused since usually the circuit breakers are located underneath the center console control panel.

Thanks in advance!

View the latest post 1999 WalkAround 22

Listing my 1999 WalkAround 22. It was my grandfather's and then my dad's. I started fixing it up but it is a much bigger project than I have experience, or interest in doing.. Shows the usual wear. Nothing mechanically wrong with it. My uncle's used it at some point and used the motor instead of the winch to get it up on the trailer and there is damage to the gelcoat where the bow roller is. Has spider cracks in a few places. Original Johnson ocean pro 200 no idea how many hours but it only used for a few days during the summer each year for flounder. Comes with trailer it's sitting on. Make a reasonable offer. Message for pictures.

View the latest post 2008 252 coastal fishboxes

Just picked up a 2008 252 coastal. I had a 2002 250 fisherman in the past. Both have in floor fish boxes. The fisherman had a macerator pump that drained them. I don’t see a switch or anything for them on the coastal. Anyone know where the switch is. I see no switch at the console with the rest of the switches nor do I see a fuse for anything similar in the fuse bank by the battery switches. Thanks for the help.

View the latest post 1997 190 ccf fuel sending unit.

Anyone know what the factory fuel sending unit ohms are from the factory on a 1997 190 ccf 50 gal tank. I know its 8 inches long but unsure of the ohm range and don't have access to the boat for several weeks.

Thanks.

View the latest post Attachment(s) Broken off engine alarm

image.jpg
Hello new member 1st. Time posting, I have a dilemma, my engine alarm broke off, Volvo penta part 3860264 and no one seems to have one, except a shady looking outfit in Belarus, and I’m not ordering that one, my question is, is there a work around? I can’t be the only person that this has happened to if this has happened to you, what did you do? How did you still use your boat? If this is the wrong spot for this post please direct me to the proper place thanks

View the latest post 1988 38KV Gas Tank Cleaning

I'm hoping someone has had experience in being able to properly clean out a fuel tank on an 88' 38KV without having to remove it but I fear that my only option is the latter.

I'm all eyes and ears!

Look forward to hearing from the members.

View the latest post 88' 38KV

Hi all you beautiful people!

I'm new to this site but not new to the passion for Scarab boats with those beautiful body lines! I love freshwater boating in the Finger Lakes, NY.

Hope to learn as much as I can about my 88' 38KV and be able to give back to this forum someday with my experiences.

Best always!!
