Anyone know what this is? It is behind the live well of a 1997 330 Coastal.

Greetings everyone. Just purchased her about two months ago. Very good deal, as a jackstand put a hole in her hull. Pretty much completed with that repair (epoxy/glass). Taking lots of pics. Would love more info on these boats. Will probably have lots of questions. First time with closed loop cooling system, and dealing with those now. Heat exchangers look good (so far). Had to replace wooden rudder support beam. It was rotten, from overflowing icebox/live well (whatever that compartment is). It filled up with rain water, and continuously overflowed onto the beam, which does not seem to be constructed with water in mind. Easy repair/replacement, completed. Duel 5.7 L inboards (they run). Anyway, don’t want to make my first post too long. Anybody have one of these boats? Any questions that I can help with? Thank you for listening, and thank you for the forum!

Hey everyone, I am at a total loss here....
I just bought this boat and was checking the upgraded speakers they came with that light up. Upon pulling the speaker something shorted and the navigation lights, the wiper switch and the sump box pump quit working. I pulled the dash and found the wiper and the nav lights switches were jumped together and an inline fuse was blown. I replaced the fuse and everything came on....for a few minutes then shut off again.

I replaced the nav switch, I replaced the sump box thinking it was unrelated and the old pump just went out. Doesn't appear to be getting power and suspect its tied into the other electrical issue.

Any ideas? Tested the block and its generating power, tested the existing lines and they were getting about 7 volts after the fuse.....Any ideas would be appreciated.I cannot find a wiring diagram at all and I see others with this model have posted without success.

My '88 Gran Sport never had a spotlight installed. I have now purchased one and i am wondering where and how to run the cable back from the bow pulpit to the helm station for the remote. Any ideas?

Hello Everyone! I have a deposit on a 79 Scarab 300 and have seen pictures and videos only. I'm making the purchase from an elderly gentleman that has owned the boat since 1985. The boats about 6 hours away and I'm picking her up Sunday. He's always kept the boat inside and has done a lot of upgrades and repairs, including replacing the transom and stringers. The transmissions have been changed to BW 72C and engines are built from New Mark IV LS-6 big blocks with Merlin heads. I've owned boats for most of my life but mostly larger inboard diesel types. Any suggestions for problem areas to look for? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
