View the latest post 2004 WA 24 Fresh Water Tank

Hello. I just purchased a 2004 WA 24 and looking to fill the fresh water tank. Does anyone know how/where I can find the fill. I looked through the owners manual and it doesn’t show a fill location.

Thank you.

View the latest post Using Lowrance Fuel Sensor on Volvo Penta

As I'm moving my electronics from my old boat to the Wellcraft, I am trying to determine if my Lowrance Fuel Sensor will work with the Volvo Penta. I can't seem to find the average fuel requirements for the engine (5.7GS), i.e. the gallons per hour. Just from an eyeball look, the engine has a larger fuel line than my current boat (outboard 90HP) but the Lowrance documentation shows a flow rates between 0.6 to 45 gallons (US) per hour, but it will operate at flow rates outside that range. I've had great success with this sensor in the past and would like to have that capability again. If anyone knows of another NMEA 2000 fuel sensor that will work with a Lowrance plotter, please share that info, too.

Does anyone have any experience using a fuel flow sensor on this boat or engine?

Thank you!
Davie

Hello, all! I am now the proud father of a 1998 Wellcraft 260 SE located in the lower Chesapeake Bay area. She needs some TLC but she is in overall nice shape. I've had a 2004 18" Sea Pro as a family boat for 10 years and used the Sea Pro forum considerably over the years. Looking forward to the same from here.

View the latest post Attachment(s) New owner used boat fisherman 180

Hello everyone new owner and member to the Wellcrafts,
NY located , recently purchased an 07 Fisherman 180 in great condition and can’t wait to get out and fish with the fam.

One thing I noticed, both deck anti skid pieces on top of the rod holder areas have cracked , I assume by people stepping on them while boarding.
Any idea if these parts exist for replacement ?

Picture attached.

Many thanks to all , and happy boating

Panos

View the latest post 99 wellcraft 24 WA. 225 johnson

Hi all! I am wrapping up going through my newly purchased Wellcraft. Sealed hull/ deck separation @ bow, minor fiberglass repair, went through systems...mostly check out. Can't find forward bilge..it has fuse/ helm switch...but nothing and no evidence in cabin floor...guess I'm gonna chock it up to a no show and let er ride with verified aft bilge. Thinking I'll wire seccond bilge in rear port forward of aft bilge as backup.
I notice rod holder bottoms into battery compartment(gonna top plug).
I'm aware if the transom gate issue and will follow sealing and securing lower gate for those following sea drifting scenarios.
The motor would tilt properly but not trim. Actuating the lower switch would produce a click...but no action. I replaced the relay...but same same. After inspection of down wind wiring I noticed corrosion on the power out connection from relay plug. I cleaned er up with a scratch awl and fired right down as it should.

I'm ready to launch for first saltwater trial run.

View the latest post wire diagram

Hey guys! new to the forum here. So I got a 1994 eclipse 236 sc sport with a 7.4L for free, and I'm looking for a wiring diagram for the boat. It's definitely a fixer upper, but hey it was free lol. I'm a mechanic by trade and pretty handy when it comes to fixing things so i thought a boat in need of some TLC would be fun. I'm looking for the wire diagram because none of my gauges are responding when i have my battery connected and the selector switch on. I'm confident the that the gauges are at least receiving power because my horn, bilge pump, nav lights, courtesy lights, and trim motor all work. Though the trim gauge does not work. The only gauge that does work is the depth finder. I'm assuming they all share a ground? A wire diagram would be a very useful tool for me with this project.
