View the latest post Swim platform stain

Hey guys, I've been building a new swim platform and I'm ready to stain it.... question is what is the difference between sanding sealer and varnish primer from Total boat..... What is the best sealer to use before I varnish the swim platform? And as far as sealing it up is it best to seal each individual board before it's glued and screwed together or do it when it's all together helppppp please. Ohh also the boat will be docked all summer if that matters

View the latest post Diesel vs Gas

Anyone have a 330 coastal? I am hoping to move up from my 290 to a 330. What are the advantages going diesel over gas? We are in Mass so only boat May-Oct. The Diesel would be Volvos with 500 hours and the Gas are Mercruiser 8.1 with 400 hours. Obviously, the gas is much cheaper up front.

Thanks!

View the latest post Attachment(s) New Member 2002 WalkAround HELP!!!

New to this site i sold my 248 Sportsman when my oldest son was born, he just turned 17 and I bought a 2002 WalkAround with 175 johnson. looking for anyone that can help me figure out how to empty the fish boxes as they were full of water/ice when I bought the boat. I cannot find any info online about this boat it is like they only produced in 2002 and destroyed any evidence that they did. I even contacted WellCraft directly and they had nothing either a lot of the records were destroyed or not archived do to the bankrupcies/ownerships changes at WellCraft.

any help or advise would be appreciated

View the latest post 262 Fisherman Drainage (2019 model)

Hello,

Does anyone know the location of the center console and center bow storage tank drain outlets are? They seem to be draining (slowly) but I never observed any water dumping overboard from the side hull drains. I must have dumped 4 gallons worth of water thru each of the drains. Do these drains go into some sort of holding tank? I am starting to worry because the boat is starting to lean towards the port side when stationary.

I plan on going to the marina waste pump station to pull whatever could be in the storage tank. If that doesn't work, then I think I have an internal leak that is accumulating water :(.

Having a plumbing schematic of this particular boat model would be super helpful.

Thanks!
GC

View the latest post 2002 Martinique 2600 Wiring Diagram Wanted

Looks to be a common request these days. Not sure why Wellcraft doesn't provide this information for download for each of their models. Many of us would pay to have these. They've got to have them...no? Anyway, any help from anyone who has been successful in finding a resource it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

View the latest post Just purchased a 1992 Wellcratf Grand Port

Hello Everyone,

I am excited to start enjoying my beautiful 1992 Grand Sport. It goes in the water on April 20th. I have spend the last two weeks cleaning it. I learned it has water filtering around the windshield during the last rain. Lots of water around the frame of the gate entering the cabin. I have removed and resealed the windshield's screws, but I am not sure if that did it. Will see.

A small price to pay for the great times I hope to have in this beautiful boat. My wife and I have named it "Camotal" which is a little island that appears and disappears of the cost of La Punta - Lima - Peru where we grew up.

I am excited to learn from you and hope to share great adventures with you. Meanwhile, does anyone have the measurements of the cabin carpet or the berth. It is time to make new ones.

I thank you in advance.

Louie

View the latest post New Member 1986 Wellcraft 190 American

Good Morning, My name is Jim and I am new to boating in general. I had the opportunity to buy a 19' 1986 Wellcraft 190 American last year that needs a new floor and some upholstery work. I am sure I will find more to work on as I get into things. Looking for tips and tricks for replacing the floor and such. Luckily I have a cousin who has done this before on a different boat so I will have a little help.

View the latest post Looking for a Fish Box Hatch - 2004 V21 Tournament

I have a 2004 Wellcraft V21 Tournament (21'10" LOA, 8'3" Beam) and am looking for a replacement fix box hatch for the starboard side. The hatch is 39.5" X 13.5" X 1.5". If there is a port side hatch available as well that would be helpful, but the starboard hatch is definitely the priority. Thank you for your consideration.

View the latest post Attachment(s) 1988 Gran Sport Waste valve line up?

I own a 1988 Gran Sport and discovered a few hoses and valves in a hatch just outside the head and below the rear berthing area. I have another hatch just aft of this one that contains the thru-hull (and strainer) for the A/C, and the thru-hull (no strainer) for the toilet flush. My confusion is with this fwd hatch and the source and direction of flow. See attached picture. The upper short hose, above/after the closed red valve handle just drains into this bilge space. Can anyone tell me what these three hoses are from top to bottom and if the valve lineup is correct? Thanks in advance.

View the latest post Attachment(s) Broken Portside Windshield

Good Afternoon;

My name is Gustavo Ferrer, I have a 2005 Coastal 290. My portside windshield was broken in the Marina and I could not find the part number as required by Taylormade. I checked the whole framing but there are no stickers or numbers.

Any Recommendations?

Thanks
