View the latest post Help - boat takes on water when 4 passengers are on board

I own a 1999 190 CCF and love it. Over the past few years i have noticed the boat leaks badly when i load it with people. I have resealed the outside of the drain holes and have resealed the seams where the top of the boat connects / overlaps the hull and i don't see any gaps. Since it is taking in water when the boat is loaded with extra weight i am thinking that it must be the through hull drains in the stern that need to be replaced? Any ideas? or it could be the seams in th stern as they are below the water level when I load the boat.... but it doesn't make sense to me that water would come in the seams at the stern while the boat is moving.... any suggestions would be appreciated. It's a dangerous situation.

View the latest post 2001 3300 Martinique Screens for Portholes

Hi all, we recently purchased this boat with the porthole screens that seem ridiculous. They apparently just "sit" with no secure latch. Anyone have the same situation? We cannot believe these are the OEM.

View the latest post Attachment(s) Canvas replacement on 23 wa excel - 95

Hi!

Searching for advice on what to replace and possible upgtaded/modifications as my canvas is worn. Its the original canvas produced by Aldon i FL - 95. Bimini really worn, cracked pvc and leaking under heavy rain. Connector and curtains in ok condition but black mold dots visible.

Should I replace bimini only?
Replace full canvas with same design?
Clever modifications and added features?
Do you have suggestions on where to buy?
*will ask at lostfactorypattern / rnr-marine / ameritex

Thank you!
Leo

Need to find replacement latch on the drop down door that covers the wiring harness located under the instrument panel. Also, what kind of latch is that called? I have a 1986 Nova 3.

Its got a reinforsed transom with a verado 300 v6 on a hydraulic jackplate. Auto trimtabs, fusion stereo and heater are other feature Im keen to master eventually.

It got a bimini installed now that Looks good and the original canvas with side curtains and aft cover. Unfortunatelly in very bad shape. Happy to recieve advice on refurbishment or replacement.

Happy boating!

View the latest post 210 WASHDOWN / LIVEWELL COMBINATION PUMP

Good day everyone,

I am a proud owner of a 2001, 210 fisherman and i have this question. This boat has a livewell pump that is also used for wash down accessory. The discharge side of the pump connects to some sort of a 3-way fix component that distribute the water to the livewell and to the wash down hose. Does anyone knows about this setup and how this 3-way component works. At this time, the water is not going through that silver colored aluminium component. Is it possible that the 3 hoses are not connected in their correct connection on that component?

Thanks
lepetitbaigneur

View the latest post Hard Starting Warm

I have a 89 170 classic with a 3.0. The boat starts up great when cold after a run when coming to dock it will die when trying to coast in a low throttle and won’t start back up for awhile. Once I get it going almost have to drop it in gear or it will die with a pop. Any ideas?

View the latest post Attachment(s) What are these switches?

1997 Wellcraft Eclipse 2000

I know the switches are in horrible shape and I plan to change them out. There is a button between the ignition and the blower switch. What is that?
There is a button on the extreme right of the switchboard and the lettering has worn out. What is that? Please see pics. Just picked up this project and I’m working out the kinks before starting the engine. Thanks for the help.

View the latest post New Owner Wellcraft Cozumel

Hi everyone. My wife and I bought our new to us Cozumel the end of last season and are currently putting all the elbow grease into getting her spruced up. The boat sat for many years in a covered slip as a live aboard so there are many things that needed attention. The mechanicals were top priority so that we can at least use and enjoy the boat. Everything seems to be fine there finally after lots of engine room time. Now I am looking to put a new gps/chartplotter combo unit and transducer on the boat. Does anyone happen to know the dead rise on this model? I want to make sure I get the correct transducer angle. Thanks in advance for any info. In the future if I can pass any tips or tricks I’ve found along the way I will certainly do so
