View the latest post Won't go into gear.


Hello all, I'm new to the forum and boating. So my problem: I was cruising in the Keys about 2000rpm for about 40 minutes when all of a sudden she seemed to jump out of gear. I shut her down and now the boat won't go into gear but the throttle does rev. No forward or reverse. The shifter cable is moving at the engine. Just no clunk and go. :-(

View the latest post 1996 260 Excel fresh water tank access


!@#$! Winterized last fall. This spring went to pump out the pink stuff and nothing but air. replaced pump. Still no pink stiff. Put a hose to a 1 gallon jug and to input of the pump. Pumps like a charm. Obviously an air leak in hose from tank. ugh! Can't even see it as it is buried behind the Vacu-Flush mechanism. It looks like a real monster to remove. Has anyone here done it. Or you do like a sailor friend of mine said "just throw money at it and hire it done. Looks expensive. HELP!

Hello everyone! My name is Rob and I'm here to learn more about Wellcraft boats. I got here by looking at an ad for a Wellcraft Nova for sale in my area and fell in love with that model. I've been looking for info on them since. So what better place to start! Boating experience, I've owned Jetski's and spent many summers boating with friends. Last boat I owned was a 20 ft RIB w/Yamaha 200 I sold recently. Oh I used to be an automotive mechanic so mechanical items don't bother me, but fiberglass does. Looking forward to talking to everyone.

Hi, I am looking to see a 45 Excalibur in person, either near Miami or Chicago. I am looking to buy one but its in Canada and cant cross the border right now to see it. I would love to see one in person as I have not yet. I am considering buying the one in Canada after a survey but need to at least see one in person first. I am looking for 1989 Eclipse 216 wiring schematics. The following is INOP:

Nav lights
Anchor Light
Blower blows the fuse
Horn blows the fuse
Fuel gauge
Temp gauge
RPM gauge
Speedometer


I need help. No power at Nav switch, but power is found at fuse panel.

Hello all, New member Patrick here. I have had about 40 boats in my life , and now at my age, I have been buying boats I always wanted to have , selling them to get another. I just acquired a nice 1988 Wellcraft V20, in great condition.This may be a keeper for me as I really have had some great boats in my time. I have always admired these V 20 boats for their design and good looks. I hope I can gather some ideas here to incorporate into my new craft, and I am surely willing to share my 50 plus years of boating experiance with all of you.

Greetings all,
Happy new owner of a Great Lakes wellcraft Monaco, soon to be named, will now live on Lake Charlevoix in Charlevoix, Michigan. I welcome any advice, Manuel’s, sage advice from other Monaco owners as not much on-line about this boat and model. Mine has twin Mecruiser Alpha Ones (under 600 hours!), same great and reliable engine as our Cobalt 22 bow rider. I’ll post some pictures after I get her tidy-ed up this August. Also purchased a Timmerman hydraulic lift so she can sit starboard side on our dock. Looking forward. To cruising our area and enjoying a boat that can handle the Big Lake. Thanks
