My name is Keith, I am outside chicago. Just picked up an '84 180 American 3.0L. Boat has new outdrive, recent tune-up, gas system flushed. All around very good condition. Couple soft spots in floor, but for what I paid I think we can enjoy it maybe yet this year. Might need some advice when I get carpeting out and start new flooring. Thanks for letting me join!

Well I am new to this and afraid that I am not much on using forums and such. I am however hoping that someone can help and have mercy on me. I bought an older 1984 Wellcraft 2900 Sport Bridge. Surely I am not the only person to face this situation, bit I would just about kill for an owners manual for this boat. I can find absolutely nothing on line or anywhere. Even contacted Wellcraft but they couuldn't help me either. Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Lots and lots of features on this boat and seem pretty much in tact. The manial would be a huge help. Apreciate an info that is semt my way. Thank you.

Hello out there, I'm new to the forum and Wellcraft. Got a 2002 270 Coastal a few months back. Down sized from a Larson 330 Cabrio, anyway Just trying to get this boat figured out, can anyone tell me were the hot water heater would be if it had one?( down loaded an owners manual it said they are not wired from the factory) Don't know if there's one on this boat but I would like to know where it would be as I got no records or paper work so it's all guess work

Ok maybe I haven't figured out how to use this site yet. Everything I can find on here is YEARS old or either no one answers a question. Do a search and you can find hundreds of questions ask but very few if any are answered by anybody. How do I find out anything about my boat here???

I just purchased a 2000 240 walkaround with 200HP Johnson Ocean Pro, and wanting to share information with other owners. I have owned this boat before, in the form of a 1995 Excel 240 and have missed the versatility, ease of care and "portability" of it. Took that boat up the Erie Canal, and through the Florida Keys, then moved up to a Bayliner 2452 for several years followed by a Bayliner 288 fly bridge, then a Bayliner 242 (still have) , but came across this boat few weeks ago and had to have. It is in bristol condition, having been most of it's years in fresh water use, garage stored and well cared for, gel coat shines like a new boat, and NO corrosion anywhere on engine, bimini frame or metal on boat. Can't wait to use it.

Other 240 owners will be helpful as I figure out the particulars of the boat (again).

Hello Wellcraft boat owners. I recently purchased a 1996 Wellcraft 26 SE Excel. Browsing this website there seems to be one over riding question. Owners Manuals! Went to the Wellcraft website and told they do not have any manuals for this boat. There has to be users out there who have owners manuals for their respective models. Seems to me someone would be able to accept copied versions of the manuals and make them available (of course for a fee) in a .pdf format for the rest of us who have more questions than answers. Anyone else feel the same way. Or a manual they will sell me?
