Hi I am looking to purchase the aluminium frame factory hardtop for a coastal 232. My boat is a 2005 model. Does anyone know where I could get one or have a wrecking boat with one in reasonable condition. I can organise transport.

My new to me 1990 Wellcraft 215XL W/ 5.7 Merc. My first vessel. I’ve been out a few times this month now. It’s not perfect and I’ve got some stuff to do on it. The water manifolds seep to the outside. After taking it out I have discovered a low power issue. I replaced plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor just for keeps-sake and it being old without any records of replacement. I’ve got a decent studder on “ahead full” position with a general consensus of not being able to top 3,400 RPM with myself, full tank of fuel in it. I’m assuming I have an issue with accelerator pump and secondaries. I plan on verifying fuel pressure and then looking into the carb. Points system.

Hello All,

Long time boat owner, bought my first Wellcraft 5 years ago a 2001 Martinique 3000, Twin Volvo Penta 5.7 GSi Duo Prop. I live in CT Long Island Sound, I'm a retired professional city Firefighter. Its a great boat and has become my favorite, just a great layout. Now I need canvas replacement, I'll be asking for assistance with getting that.

I have a 1996 Wellcraft 21SX open bow with the 4.3L Mercruiser and Alpha drive. I have owned it for 3 years now and it has been a great boat. Founf a soft spot in the floor last weekend, pulled the carpet up and pulled half the floor to check for stringer damage and found none. Boat just needs new floor laid and carpet, i simply do not have the time/money/desire to do a project of that size. Has a nice bimi top. Will start to part out if no bites. It comes with a 2 axle roadrunner trailer in great shape. Title in hand on boat

I can repair the stripped threads from these bell housings saving you approx $850.00
Developed this for my boat 5 years ago and has never failed. Send me yours for the repair for $125 and I ship it back to you. If you think you can use a reducer bushing ,there is not enough meat in the housing . I have tried many solution but this is bulletproof . Have a Safe Season

View the latest post Attachment(s) Alpha One gen 1 bellow replacement

Hey everybody, I replaced all of my bellows last July with a kit I bought off of Amazon that was half the cost of a quick silver one.... The quality seemed excellent. The boots were of great quality and everything went on nice and tight. No leaks no issues..... However, back in May when I took my boat out of the storage facility, I noticed the shift cable boots and one other boot was severely cracked and stuff.... So my question is could this be a bad product?... I've read the reviews and nobody complained about having any issues in any of the reviews going 4 years back in the review section, . But I also read that storing your unit in the up position puts a lot at of access. Stressed on the bellows ... Can anybody confirm if this is the rotten position to store your unit when in the storage? The both sits from October all the way till about May so sometimes 6 to 7 months out of the year. ..

So I guess my main question is, should I just replace them or is this completely normal? I hate to take such a risky chance and my boat end up leaking or worst case it end up sinking when it's at the marina slip

View the latest post Attachment(s) Water in oil

So needing some help here, I know where the car you got oil water mixture whatever blown head gasket would not. This thing has had a lot of work prior to us purchasing it. It has set for probably a year maybe a little less. Basically I’m just needing some pointers on where to look and how to inspect for cracks or anything like that in the manifold. It doesn’t seem like the head gasket is blown, but what I’m gonna do is drain the oil put some fresh oil in it and see what happens. I guess this thing has like a radiator type set up on it. It’s the 3.7 L MerCruiser I’ve never really used forums before so this is kind of new to me. Sorry if this all sounds jumbled and crazy. This is a 1988 Wellcraft 192 classic I’m gonna add a picture of the engine like I said there was a lot of work done to it prior to us buying it almost $3000 worth of work. So hopefully I can get point in the right direction and not be something that needs a rebuild.

View the latest post Attachment(s) New to boats and this forum

Good evening my name is Seth. My wife and I purchased a 1988 192 Wellcraft classic with the Cuddy. We are new to boats. This is our first ever we’ve had motorcycles and hot rods and stuff like that but we wanted something in our whole family can enjoy on the lake and stuff or on the intercostal. We are from Western North Carolina and I definitely will be asking a lot of questions again thank you.
