View the latest post Hatch lifts on 360 coastal

I'm asking if any owners of a 2008 or prob any year 360 coastal if they know what type of hatch lift these boats came with to access the engine area. The previous owner took the original electric ones out and replaced them with manual hydraulic ones which are a PIA.
I want to install electric ones and I'm looking at either Lenco or Acculift.
Thx, George

Hi, all I just picked up a 26' Excaliber it has a bad engine (454 MPI) don't know if it came with any other engine. I am here to find out info on this boat. Got it cheap, it also needs some interior work. About myself I have been boating since 1970, I bounce back and forth between boats and cars, now I have 2 boats and 2 cars (09 GT Mustang Convert and a 67 Dodge Coronet. I have a great Wife of 30 years and always gives in to my whims.

View the latest post Attachment(s) Removing Livewell 180 Fisherman

Hello all, love my 180 Fisherman but hate how much room the livewell takes up, would much rather have a flat floor with a leaning post. Has anyone cut out the livewell assembly in one of these and replaced the flooring? Not sure what's under there once you the livewell assembly, is it just bonded to the existing floor or will that create a big hole in the deck that needs rebuilt??? Thought's or experiences with this??? TIA...

View the latest post 1996 238 ccf wood components?

Does anyone know if there is wood in the stringers and transom on a 1996 238 ccf? I found evidence of termites and hoping it’s just affecting the floor which I was intending on redecking.

Thanks in advance!

View the latest post Attachment(s) 190 ccf. Water in floor box

New to me 97 190 ccf. The box under the floor in front of the console won't drain. This is a fairly large sized box that you access through the rectangular hatch door on the floor. I ran a plumbers snake into the drain hole expecting to see the snake come out in the bilge but instead I never saw the end of the snake. The box will drain some level but still a lot staying in there. I can here the snake somewhere around the middle of the boat more towards the port side. Anyone have a clue why thus water hangs out in the box? How and where does that box drain? I will never use that compartment for fish but would like to store stuff in there without it getting soaked. Please help. Thanks

View the latest post Attachment(s) 190 ccf new owner questions

Hi just picked up a 97 190 ccf. Beautiful boat. Missing the cushion for the bow area. Anyone have one or know an alternative? Also need the round plastic hole grommet for the rod box. There are 3 large holes for the rod handles to go into but one is missing. Lastly looks like the prior owner blacked out the rectangular window on the console so you have to remove the window to see the fish finder or anything else in there. Can I just buy a piece of Plexiglas and cut it to size? Should it be tinted at all? Also no hinge on that window? You just remove it and then place it back when you are done? It does have a keyed latch button still. Thank you

View the latest post Wellcraft Intake gasket

Hello, i have a 1985 Wellcraft with a 1999 GM 5.7 350 sbc 880 cast number Aluminum Intake. Look for a correct part number. The motor also has a heat exchanger on it no no sea water get in the engine. I have the engine out of the boat. It has never been in the boat yet. I rebuilt the motor top to bottom, on my 3 test run on a stand noticed milk shake in the intake area. Think i didn't tighten it down correctly on the intake. Had on of thoses rubber gaskets with metal on it. Any way i could get the proper gasket part number. Please help.

View the latest post Attachment(s) Need New Trailer recommendations for a Sportsman 210

Hello All,

I purchased my 2000 Wellcraft Sportsman 210 a couple of years ago and it was on a single axle ez roller type trailer. That is way undersized for the weight, especially when I fill it up with a 100 gallons of fuel. I use the trailer to go about 1 mile to the boat ramp in the spring and back home in the fall. We use the boat in saltwater so galvanized has always been the thing here in NY (North Shore of Long Island). From what I calculate the hull, Yamaha Saltwater Series II OX66 and a full tank of gas is roughly 5200 lbs. I do not have any other tanks or wells.

My question is what is better a bunk or full roller trailer? I have never had a bunk trailer.

Does anybody have a descent suggestions. Thank you
