I recently purchased a 2014 Evinrude 115 HP E-Tec and it is mounted on my 1996 Wellcraft 19'CC. The motor seems to sit very low when underway. Has anyone else experienced the same? Thanks.

Tired of breaking off and replacing the $4+ Blue plastic water drain plugs used on Mercruiser engines? I have a stainless steel replacement plug (see pic) available with rubber "O" ring included. They are $9.95 each, $36 for a set of 4 or $45 for a set of 5. You will never break and have to replace them again when draining your engine block.

View the latest post Attachment(s) 10 points to identify this fin cooler

Cooler.JPG

Re pic above.
So the cylindrical one is the power steering, so why the fin cooler for an externally cooled 454 lying in the bilge. Is this a leftover from an internal cooling conversion?
Don't mention the oil leak.....!

Hello to all,
Bought our Wellcraft Excel SE 3 years ago. We've done a few upgrades, new upholstery on the dinette & window coverings, replaced the rub rail (an all day job but big difference, a graphics wrap on the hull and added an extended swim platform. It's a work in progress but we enjoy it. Glad to have found this forum because it's hard to find bits and pieces for the old girl. Now off to sift through the threads.
Cheers.

View the latest post Ahoy there!

Hello,
I am a brand new member to this community and would like to let everyone know a little about me with respect to boating anyway. I have very little boating experience, the 'biggest water' experience on my own boat has been in the Rappahanock River within sight of the Chesapeake Bay. That was in a 19' Citation. I recently saw a Wellcraft 31' advertised on Craig's List for $3000 and had to go look at it. I decided that the time was just not right for me at this point no matter what the cost. The boat, hopefully, only needs cosmetic and waterproofing and minor repairs (bilge pump float, make sure the generator works, etc). I say that because even though I didn't buy the boat, one of my closest friends did. So he has since buying the boat 2 days ago spent most of his time since gathering and cleaning and applying temporary or permanent fixes. So we're sort of in this together. As I have a bit better communication skills than he, I have joined this "Owners" forum, and I hope to learn more about boating and Wellcraft especially. I will appreciate all the help and guidance anyone is willing to share. Oh,and by the way, the boat is a 1987 St. Tropez 3200.
One quick question if I may in this initial post; does anyone know what the fuel consumption rate for this boat is or what I may expect. The boat has twin 260 hp 350s, 'V-drive' run through 1.5:1 reducers, and weighs 10,000 lbs. It's gonna be expensive!

View the latest post Just saying hello

New Wellcraft boat project, bought an Excel 21sl with a 5.0fl volvo penta. Not new to boating, this is number 5 for me, a Tahiti, 2 Sea Rays, a Trophy WA, and now this Wellcraft. Started by removing the hardware and cutting and buffing it, have a tower on the way, Captains Call exhaust, all of the latches and led nav lights, and interior lamps. Love the way this boat performs, and how the hull works. We boat on Chatcolet and Cour D Alene, and will keep this in our boathouse there. We live full time in Vancouver Wa, and spend time at our Ocean Park Wa place fishing and crabbing, then our place at Rocky Point on Chatcolet for water sports and fishing.

View the latest post 1994 SC 23

Hi
I just bought a 1994 wellcraft SC 23, so far I love the boat. I am looking for an owners manual for this boat. The only thing I have been able to find so far is a generic manual. Also the boat has a windshield wiper for which, so far, I have not been able to find the on/off switch. Additionally it has a sink in the cuddy. I have not been able to find the holding tank for the sink or how to fill it, if there is one. The owner has passed away so I can't get any info there.
Thanks
Bryant

View the latest post Help with Martinique 3000, windlass

Looking for some help.. Hopefully from other wellcraft Martinique 3000 owners..
Just purchased a new to me, 1998 wellcraft Martinique 3000. I've been going through the boat and making sure everything is in tip top shape before winter layup.

Can't figure out the lewmar windlass! Nothing happens when I hit the button at the helm or on the bow. I've checked the breaker in the battery panel.. It wasn't tripped.. So not the issue.
Is there inline fuses somewhere? Anyone know where?

Please help if you can..it one of the very few things I haven't been able to figure out on my own!

Thanks in advance!
