View the latest post Pumping out black water tank

We have a 3100 Express Cruiser (1985), and are unable to pump out our full tank. Some have told us we have to turn on a switch or valve in order to pump out, but we can't find such a switch. Does anyone know about this?

View the latest post History of the Wellcraft company anywhere?

Hello,

I am trying to find some facts about the history and timeline of Wellcraft as a company. Other than being founded in 1955 and models' names, I cannot find much on the company itself anywhere on the web. Can anyone point me anywhere where I can find some info?

Help greatly appreciated,

View the latest post Hello from Medusa Engines in Florida!

Hello all,

We own a small company in Florida that builds 100% new gasoline engines for the repower market, and, as part of a marketing campaign to increase brand awareness, we are repowering several iconic vessels, ncluding my all time favorite, a Portofino. Yes, the stringers will need to be rebuilt and a few other mnor problems addressed, but aside from that, it is still a boat of timeless beauty and elegance with flawless lines. So, happy to finally be a Wellcraft owner!

View the latest post Fouled Plugs On Evinrude E-Tec

I had taken my 115 E-Tec back for service after it would not turn over. It is a 2014 with less than 50 hours. The shop said the plugs were fouled due to the thermostat being stuck open and the engine running cold. Also stated the situation may have been caused due the motor not being run for a month. They replaced the plugs and said it is good to go. I had a buyer for the boat and lost the sale over this issue. I have no mechanical knowledge of outboards or anything else for that matter. Can anyone comment on the findings. Thank you.

View the latest post Outboard Mounting

I recently purchased a 2014 Evinrude 115 HP E-Tec and it is mounted on my 1996 Wellcraft 19'CC. The motor seems to sit very low when underway. Has anyone else experienced the same? Thanks.

View the latest post Attachment(s) Blue Water Drain Plugs

Tired of breaking off and replacing the $4+ Blue plastic water drain plugs used on Mercruiser engines? I have a stainless steel replacement plug (see pic) available with rubber "O" ring included. They are $9.95 each, $36 for a set of 4 or $45 for a set of 5. You will never break and have to replace them again when draining your engine block.
