I’m looking at Coastal 290 and see that most boats have a pair of 250s. The one I’m looking at has a pair of Evinrude 225s. I need feedback as to who has these engines? Is the HP adequate? Any other comments appreciated.

I have an SL3 Teleflex dual throttle control (1998 martinique 3000). On the port throttle - once I get on plane and let go of the lever - it slowing retreats back towards idle. So I am constantly adjusting it as I motor along. I have increased the tension screw on the box - but it has no effect. Any ideas - is my control box wearing out?

Hello fellow Wellcraft owners. I have been suffering from dreaded anchoring problems since my anchor is only connected via anchor rope. Yesterday I added 5ft of anchor chain to my anchor which rests on the bow anchor roller of my 2018 Wellcraft 222 Fisherman. The problem I am having is securing the anchor so it stays put on the bow roller when I have pulled it up. This is because the chain barely fits under the cleat. Can someone shed some light onto how they have configured the chain at rest?

Hey guys, I am looking for a reliable source for a few 1985 Fisherman parts. The wood in the old hatches for bilge access and anchor locker was rotted out. Looking for replacement hatches, can be teak or other materials.

Also need two new stern seat covers to go over the live wells. The originals were in terrible shape and had to pull them off. If I can't find replacements, I'll need to make a fiberglass mold using the old seats, which I'd really like to avoid doing...lol.

Does Shore power charge the batteries?

My batteries recently went dead, as I think the bilge pump float stuck on.

So I’ve pluggged in Shore power 1 and batteries don’t seem to charge after a week.

I can try shore power #2 next.

There is also a trickle charger beside that battery switches, but I think this is after market. I’ve plugged it in with a cord and a week later still no charge.

Does anyone know what is the fuel capacity for a 1987 18' Fisherman? Thanks. I'm looking to get this on the water.

Its a 97 Excel with a 5.7L alpha 1 gen 2 240hours on everything in really good shape.

I have another burned alternator on my wellcraft 233 with a 5.7 Mercruiser engine, now the alternator is connected to the starter motor. I have read that this is not the best and should be wired to the main switch, is this the best way? i also have a blue sea SI-ACR 7610 connected too. I should receive my new alternator soon. Any help would be appreciated.
