View the latest post Attachment(s) Need New Trailer recommendations for a Sportsman 210

Hello All,

I purchased my 2000 Wellcraft Sportsman 210 a couple of years ago and it was on a single axle ez roller type trailer. That is way undersized for the weight, especially when I fill it up with a 100 gallons of fuel. I use the trailer to go about 1 mile to the boat ramp in the spring and back home in the fall. We use the boat in saltwater so galvanized has always been the thing here in NY (North Shore of Long Island). From what I calculate the hull, Yamaha Saltwater Series II OX66 and a full tank of gas is roughly 5200 lbs. I do not have any other tanks or wells.

My question is what is better a bunk or full roller trailer? I have never had a bunk trailer.

Does anybody have a descent suggestions. Thank you

View the latest post Attachment(s) mystery hose fitting in 1997 coastal 33 head

Hello fellow boaters. I have a 1997 33 Coastal which I've owned for 1 1/2 seasons. I have a mystery, there is a hose bib with a black cap sticking out from cabinet that houses the sink. I put air to it last year and had nothing at raw water or fresh water inlet connections. Previous owner has no idea what it is for either. Getting ready to winterize, I would love to know where it goes or what it does. Thanks for any help you can give me, PipeGuy

View the latest post 1998 240 Coastal taking on water underway

My 1998 240 Coastal is kept in a slip and does not take on water when just sitting at the dock for weeks at a time. After getting underway in any sea condition, I'll turn on the bilge pump and it will pump out gallons of water. Now I've got water in my gas tank but the tank does not leak fuel. Any idea of where the water is getting in from and how it's getting in the fuel tank?

I have a 84 KV30 with a Kaama package. The seawater pumps are toast and no longer available. Was wondering what everyone else was using?

View the latest post New to me Wellcraft 24.5 Coastal

Hello fellow captains,
I've been enjoying my 1998 Wellcraft 24.5 Coastal with a Johnson 225 Oceanrunner for a little over a year now. I'm looking forward to getting some tips and advice on upgrades and repairs from other Wellcraft boat owners.

Cheers,
Reel Drag

View the latest post Noob boater just bought himself big project.

Hello everyone. First time boat owner here ready to absorb all the knowledge that lies in the archives of this site. Wish me luck cuz I just bought a 1990 3400 Gran sport! Runs great for the relatively high hours it has (1300). I pretty much plan on redoing EVERYTHING over the next couple of years, while still keeping her ready and seaworthy for each season (so my wife and kids don’t kill me with nagging). Step one, stop the excessive leaks. Found each rudder leaking way more then just a drop here and there. So tightened those down but think the port side needs repacking. So I will be doing a search for that item as well as ordering all the anodes!
Ummm I guess thanks building this forum and for allowing me to be here
