Replacing faucet 1999 Martinique 2600

Postby Gerry863 » Fri Jul 21, 2017 6:48 am

I have been dreading this day but the faucet in my head needs replacing. Wellcraft in their infinite wisdom didn't provide access to the faucet as far as I can tell. I could cut out panel in fiberglass underneath it but it's curved and not sure how to create a curved door to cover the opening Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks for any help.

What's wrong with faucet,? if it drips, should be able to pull handles off and replace rubber cup washers in each handle, from hardware plumbing

Very corroded. Besides being unsightly one handle refuses to come off.

Maybe have a steady hand with small grinder with a cut off wheel, I think I have seen newer models with a door, can the seat back come off with access? I'll look at mine this wkend, seems strange not to have an access to it
