DC Power overload?

Postby DigginDeep » Mon Jun 03, 2019 9:02 pm

This has happened 3 times now. It seems when I’m running a big load down below (stereo, head, water pressure, lav accessories) all DC accessories shut down. I still have all DC power and accessories at the helm. After some time once it took hours once just a few seconds the power comes back on. Is there an overload happening? Do I have a bad breaker in the panel? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Check the DC breaker on you inside breaker panel, sounds like that is were the problem is. Most of the helm station is or should be wired separately from the house

Also maybe start Isolating each circuit and test the amp draw, Don't know if this helps but at one time I had an Amp for the stereo that was going bad and it started to draw way more amperage then it should before it quit
