2003 290 coastal wiring question

Postby Captain Bill » Wed Dec 28, 2022 10:00 pm

I recently bought a 2003 290 coastal. Behind the rear seat is an electrical device with a red positive cable and a black negative cable. The red cable has a wiring # 92 on it. Can someone please tell what it is? I previously owned a 2005 290 coastal and it did not have this device. Thank you

Never saw anything like that before, looks like a big switch for some kind of main power like a windless or maybe the cabin house system. Have you turned it on or off to see what still works or doesn't? might even be some sort of kill switch. Trace it and see where it does

I figured it out. Wire #92 is for the windlass power. It is a 80 amp circuit breaker. I relocated it and replaced it.
