252 Coastal Fuel Gauge installation

Postby Primal98 » Mon Aug 28, 2017 8:25 am

Hi all,
My 252 Coastal come fitted with the square Yamaha gauges that do a great job of showing fuel burn etc. however appear to not have the functionality to add fuel back on if you do a partial refuel. As I would prefer not to have to keep filling to full, is there an option to fit a stand alone fuel gauge into the factory wiring? I notice the tank appears to have a level sensor wired with red and black wires disappearing forward. Does anyone know where I can find these behind the dash? Any advice on fitting an aftermarket fuel gauge? Thanks Rob
