Drain Plulg '81 31' Suncruiser

Postby RJTASSIE » Mon Apr 20, 2020 2:09 pm

Purchased a 1981 31' Suncruiser and see no drain plug. Is this normal? Or is there a drain plug elswhere along the keel line. Thanks.

so far all the images of suncruisers I've seen have all had drain plugs on the stern, so if I were you I would be checking that transom very carefully looking for any signs of repairs and integrity of the transom

Thanks. I know the boat was completely restored bow to stern in 2002. I thought that a plug was never put in during the rebuild. There will be one by weeks end.

Found the drain plug in the keel at the transom. Blocking covered it on the outside and a few inches of water covered it on the inside. Done Deal. Thanks.
