Drainage Issue on 262 Fisherman

Postby BigDaddyRatty » Mon Aug 09, 2021 11:30 am

Our 262 Fisherman Deck (Fish) Boxes tend to fill with fresh water when it rains and do not drain.
Each Box has its own drain. Is there something I can do to help them drain??

The fish boxes should be connected to a macerator pump, other than that at lest on mine there is enough of a lip sticking up to divert the rain water around the boxes

I have drainage issue in side compartments, head floor, and in the forward hull under the deck. Was hoping you had some replies. My live wells drain fine but I had to open valves to get the water to fill in them.

maybe too late but use a water hose nozzle against the drain and spray lightly to force the debris out of the drain

I had same issue. I hardly ever use fish boxes so I drilled a small hole at the rear and let the rain water drain into the bilge. At least there is no water left in the boxes.
