Good afternoon. I just purchased a 96 Scarab 26 454 Magnum. It is being shipped from MD to CA in December. I test drove it in MD last week and while it ran great, I could not get over 4200 RPM and about 45MPH. I am going to look into tune, props and drive ratios when it gets here. It has 260 hours on the engine, and 340 on the hull, same owner for the last 18 years. I don't think he ever opened it up. Where are
you? I am in Santa Barbara CA
