Sold my last boat 10 years ago (1997 26' Seacat Catamaran SL5)
Now that Grandkids are growing up decided to get a Freshwater Ski/Wakeboard/Runabout
Found a meticulously maintained '97 Eclipse 2000 ss with the 5.7 Merc and Alpha1 - Stored on racks at the marina and a stack of yearly maint records and a bunch of break fix engine components going back 11 years
Been getting some upgrades done ie: Self rise pistons for the Back sun lounger . Replacing the old Hummingbird digital depth gauge for a Hawkeye in dash . New Anchor list base etc
Wondering if there are some Older bowrider boat owners out there who have tried a Wake tower on a similar or identical vessel
I checking mounting points it seems Wellcraft used a hull liner insert in the Gunnells and I'm wondering how yall dealt with that. Manufacturer requires 3/8" min thickness to Mount the Hardware
Pic of day of purchase and a pic of an identical boat with a tower
Thanks and good to be here !
