1988 Wellcraft 24.8 walkaround - Rainwood

Postby Rainwood » Tue May 11, 2021 10:52 am

Hey everyone,

New to the site, new to boating, basically new.
I am purchasing a 88' wellcraft 25' walk around with a 2000 Mercury 225 Optimax outboard.

The hull is solid, the OB I believe is good but I will be performing a complete service on her once I get her home.

I have to strip the cuddy, do some pretty serious work and cleaning, re-building, remodeling the cabin... pretty much a complete face lift. I am nervous and excited at the same time. I hope to learn a lot from you experts on this forum.

Thanks,
Rainwood
