Rebuilding trim cylinders.

Needing to rebuild leaking trim cylinder. Have the rebuild kit and the spanner wrench to do the job. Question is, can this be done without removing the cylinder from the boat? Looks easy enough (if removing the cap isnt to much of a chore).

Yes, And welcome Aboard. The cap will be the biggest and hardest part. Also the the stern most shaft/pin needs to either come out or be moved from side to side as you go but get the cap loose first. Last one I did I needed to use a punch to get the cap to start moving
