Water Pressure Pump

Postby raymondvinzant » Wed Jun 22, 2022 3:02 pm

I have a 1988 43' San Remo. I am trying to find the location of the water pump for domestic water. I have pulled apart everything I can find around the water storage tank, but can't find the location of the pump. If anyone has any information. I checked under the master bed, which is where the stainless steel storage tank is. I can see the water pipes coming from the tank, but they go under the floor and back to the area of the steering linkage. I just can't find the pump itself.

Is the a access whole on the tank it self, if so look in there it could be a submersible pump, other than that I don't know what to tell you sorry

Does the pump run at all? They are pretty loud. Can you listen for it? Clear plastic tubing on the suction side and grey qest tubing on the pressure side. Is the hot water tank in the engine room? Follow the grey qest tubing. I think the pump would be on a bulkhead in the engine room.
