transom repair

Postby a238killfish » Mon Nov 21, 2016 12:17 am

quite the jo. have a really bad back and in the middle of this 6 mpnth project, the big Bluefin started to jump off. got it done in time to catch 3 X70+pounders and a 50pounder. I will have to take picture of finished product. slapped it togother to get it on the water. this brins up my question. does anyone know the transom angle. I want to make sure the transducer is getting a true up and down reading. think it is. been knocking the crap out of the rockfish but at times the meter seems to be a little off.

Normally your angle is going to be 15 degrees, but it can vary by boat.
