Hello, I have a 2003 Wellcraft Coastal 250. There is water on the floor in the cabin right below the step. I removed the panel and tightened all the connections on the vacuum generator and hoses. Replaced the panel and found water on the floor the next day. Any suggestions on what or where this leak is?
Thanks
Bob

Is your fresh water pump cycling? if it is start looking for the drips if not it could be from the an outside out side source like hatches, portals so on, you would be surprised how much moisture seeps in from a heavy dew or rain

OK, took the boat out in the intracoastal it was a little choppy. When I got back to the dock there was water on the floor again in the cabin with some debri mixed in. I cleaned it up and the next morning it rained pretty heavy. There was water on the floor in the cabin again this time completely clear and clean......... Does anybody have any idea where this leak may be??????????

check the anchor locker, running lights, horn or any other stuff on the bow even the anchor locker drain or what ever side you where getting the spray on check your through hull fittings if you can't find it that way get out a hose and start spraying things one at a time (for more than just a couple minutes) see if you get any water in

Also I forgot to ask does it have a hard top? if so check were it mounts to the boat and make sure it's sealed, run your hand over the headliner to feel for dampness especially around the hatches and windows, also look for stains

Ok I am out of options - I have replaced the bow hatch, the portlight windows, the bow light, the anchor guide into the hull, cleared the anchor locker and drain, sealed every nook and crannie I could find, no leaks around the head, no leaks around or at the vacuum generator. The water leaking in appears to be rain water its clear and this happens at the dock.

ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!

As soon as I find my rain water leak I'll let you know. Mine appears to be from the windshield mounting holes, some of the filler trim that hides the screws has shrunk or something but that's the last spot that I haven't worked to reseal yet

Ok here's what I found, It wasn't the windshield or the hard top mounting it is the portholes at least on mine. 3 of the port holes on mine have small cracks, 1 in the head witch puts water on the sink counter and aft cabin and the 2 port side that put water on the V berth area that put water in one storage area and on the cabin floor under the stairs. I'll see if I can remember how to post pics

The little white marks are the cracks
