Through hull transducers

Postby Jbhemm » Sun Feb 26, 2023 5:06 pm

Hi all. Has anyone put a through hull transducer in a 2000 22 Walkaround. Looking for the best place/install. Any info on the hull would be appreciated. There seems to be more space on the port side of the hull, but that is where the seacock for the raw water is. It appears to be located on a thicker pad and there is an identical pad a few mow feet forward of this. Thanks in advance.

What kind of thru hull is it? Do you need to drill a hole or just epoxy it in? Always best to put it somewhere as close to the center line as possible and somewhere that's going to be free from any disturbances while underway
