1985 Nova Bow Eye/Lifting Cleat Assembly

Postby kencook246 » Sun Aug 20, 2023 7:50 am

I just bought a 1985 26’ Nova II and discovered that the bow eye/lifting cleat is so corroded that it’s a failure waiting to happen. Does anyone have experience replacing this assembly? Access is somewhat limited but can be made open by removing the forward bulkhead (reinstalling when finished). Stainless steel assemblies are available online, but I can’t tell if the angles are right for a seamless installation. Thanks!
