Trailer mode while in gear

Kids used the boat and had it in gear in trailer mode, then said it made a loud noise. What could be messed up?

Start with things like U-joints, Gimble, drive shaft.
Never Ever Ever do anything that test your wife's memory :captain:

That's when you put the engine or outdrive in the full up position, puts a lot of stress on the u-joints and starves the fresh water intake
