Wellcraft Intake gasket

Postby Erico624 » Wed Oct 25, 2023 7:01 am

Hello, i have a 1985 Wellcraft with a 1999 GM 5.7 350 sbc 880 cast number Aluminum Intake. Look for a correct part number. The motor also has a heat exchanger on it no no sea water get in the engine. I have the engine out of the boat. It has never been in the boat yet. I rebuilt the motor top to bottom, on my 3 test run on a stand noticed milk shake in the intake area. Think i didn't tighten it down correctly on the intake. Had on of thoses rubber gaskets with metal on it. Any way i could get the proper gasket part number. Please help.

89017465 should be the GM part # for that engine(1996-2002) as long as it's a vortec engine

Hello, do you know what kind of coolant goes in this engine?
