1998 excel gauges

None of my gauge are working.When I turn the key on the oil pressure gauge goes to 80lbs and stay there.Anyone have
any ideas on what is going on?

First thing is to check battery voltage. Then check voltage @ gauges. If ok, check grounds, or just run a jumper wire from back of gauge to a known good metal ground...

I also think it is a ground problem.. remove the ground off your battery and clean and replace. Then you can us a volt meter to check at gauges to make sure you are getting correct voltage to gauges. Also you can check your ground with a simple circuit tester or volt meter. Doesn't sound like anything too intense. Good luck and let us know what you found.
