Mounting a second Transducer with twin OBs

Postby triman_us » Wed Sep 13, 2017 12:11 pm

I have a 2004 Wellcraft 252 Costal with twin 150s (port rotates counter clockwise, SB clockwise);
I am installing a second transducer, Lowrange TotalScan for new HCS 7 Gen3 chartplotter ;
I have existing RayMarine (solid but aging) with its transducer between the motors;
I hope to use the Transom mount, and am thinking of just putting next to the existing transducer, as noted in picture ;
The bottom inside step of my transom (where existing transducer sits) is narrow, not enough room to get outside of SB prob.
Will putting where I marked cause any problems with the OBs?
Any known issues with this placement?
Thanks
