Postby Rhondaburlile » Wed May 21, 2014 1:47 pm

I fill my fresh water tank and my carpet gets wet in cabin. What and where do I look?

Remove the stove.........lift stove cover and remove 6 screws and observe water faucet area below faucet.................or your vacuuflush toilet..........good luck

The water tank is low but look in your forward bilge area...........overflowing also observe fresh water pump in your forward bilge port side for leaks?

trycwellcraft, i also have a wellcraft 22 walkaround also and don't seem to be able to find the freshwater pump or the fuse for it. it stopped working and i looked for the fuse but there isn't one labeled. when you say forward bilge port side, are you talking about the storage area under the cushions?

I have seen the filter connected at the pump burst on account of freezing. I'd fill up the tank and have a look around as the leak occurs.

Since the fresh water tank is usually under the floor and therefore under the carpet I might suspect the water fill hose.

agree with jvanhengel if tank is below the cabin sole- check connections/condition of water fill hose

I have the same problem. When I fill the tank it expands and bloats. Also the pump keeps running. Water leaks into the locker that is under the table. Fill hose seems fine connections look good. Also fills up the forward bilge. Very frustrating.
