Hello from a Wellcraft Owner in VA

Wellcraft Friends,

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My family just acquired our 2nd Wellcraft - just pulled home a nice 1985 Nova II this evening. Freshwater boat that has spent much of it's life on Lake Anna here in Virginia. Stock boat with the original twin Mercruiser 260 engines with Alpha One Drives. Will be working on this - making minor fixes the next couple weeks and hope to get her out on the water around July 4th once we get everything registered and ready to go.

Our other Wellcraft is a 1989 Eclipse 215 Bow-Rider with Mercruiser 260 and Alpha Drive - we have had for almost two years. I am fortunate to have a father who owned his own marine business and worked on these boats when they were new. That being said - my father and I do most work ourselves and enjoy the process. The Eclipse was also a very clean boat purchase and we have gone through about everything and made this a very reliable and enjoyable boat on the water.

Hope to do the same with the Nova II - we boat primarily on the lower James River near Richmond VA. Attached are several photos of both boats - all from the Craigslist sellers ads that caused me to inquire and purchase them. I need to do better taking photos with my own camera!
