Hello everyone. Just bought a 1993 Excel 23SE. In the process of doing my due diligence survey mechanical and sea trial before the subjects are taken off. I will be the second owner. The original owner has kept it in the water in a boat house all it's life. The engine is a SB Chev 350, 572 with a Volvo Penta 290. The total hours read 618 and the boat looks like new. It has been meticulously maintained by the owner at the marina where it is moored. I was wondering if anyone has any insight as to what to look for as far as the hull/ transom. I have heard from some that the transom can sound hollow when tapped possible separation of the lamination. The manifolds were last replaced approx 5 years ago and checked and re gasketed 3 years ago. The boat has had very little use over the last few years as the previous owner is in ill health. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thank you all. GeeBee
