210 coastal

Hello everyone. I'm in need of some advice. I'm no stranger to boats or this issue, but figured that maybe someone might be able to streamline this for me. Fist off, I have a '98 210 Coastal (walk around/cuddy) with a '98 Evinrude 200 ocean pro. Boat is great. Absolutely love it. My question is, does anyone have any experience on prop size? As to what seems to work best on it? Right now it has a 3 blade, 15" x 19p on it. It's ready for a new one. Was thinking of going to a SS 3 blade or possibly 4 blade. I don't know that I need the 4 blade as it seems to get out of the water quickly and I have no cavitation issues on turning at high speeds or anything. Just looking for any experience on this before I have to start trying a bunch of different props. Oh, and at WOT I'm turning around 5700 rpms with a full tank and four people on the boat so I'm pretty good in that department.

4-blade props tend to give more bow lift. Do you need more bow lift? (Mine certainly doesn't) If not, I recommend you stick with the 3 blade. Sounds like you are hitting your RPM's right. Better a little under propped than over-propped.

Mine is 24'1", and I'm currently running a 17p, and am getting about 5500 RPM, but I'm thinking about dropping a pitch, as my engine should be running around 6K.
