1973 Paint Color Codes

Postby Aboutlastnight » Wed Sep 04, 2019 1:20 pm

Does anyone know what the paint color codes where in 1973 for the Airslot Weekender? I want to keep it original.

Take a picture of an unfaded section of the color you are looking for. Then go to Lowe’s AND Home Depot and take as many of the color cards that you think may be close. Go back to the boat and pick out the best match. Then go to any paint store and tell them you want a quart of that color in exterior oil base gloss enamel. It may not be a perfect match, but no one is ever going to look at your boat and say “that’s not the right color for a 1973 Airslot”.
