Hello From Ibiza

Postby Thomas » Thu Jun 18, 2020 12:15 pm

Hi all, I am the happy owner of a 1993 Nova ST 26 twin 5.7, bought 2 years ago.
Basically, both engines are running but one is doing a strange noise, and I am going to try and find the origin of that noise.
Depending on the problem I will find, I have 2 options:
1-Fix the problem replacing what has to be replaced
2 - Switch the bloc with a rebuilt spare bloc I have, and then, take my time to fix the problem

I should be able to start at the very end of the month, and I would be very grateful if I could get some support around here...

Someone expert with the Alpha One transmissions and the Mercruiser 5.7 engines would be perfect...
Who's the Guru here?

thanks

Welcome Aboard, might be easier to diagnose the noise while it's able to be run in the boat(just my opinion) any way good luck
