On mine if you take the fold down rear seat out of the way, take that access panel of and look down at the stringer it's just to the right side of the stringer . there's a hose from the left fish box, and the hose and "T" with the hose from the right fish box and that's where you find the macerator pump. I'll take a pic of it some time this weekend

Thanks Captn Bill I have not looked in where the bilge pump is will see if I can get in there and find a macerator.
All I have to access is about 10" round cover in the deck floor to get into the bilge.

On my 2003 270 previous owners removed macerator pumps and simply let boxes drain into bilge, terrible idea.
The macerator pumps were located on the discharge lines from the boxes; they then exit at the scuppers. Trace the lines coming from the boxes.

Yep, don't drain the fish box into the bilge. They use a macerator to chew up scales, ice and other things the bilge pump can't handle

My macerator pump (yes to drain the fish boxes), is mounted below my battery switches (I just had to replace mine). Capt Bill, thanks for all your replies, I was able to free up the Y-valve that routes water to either the washdown or the Livewell. My next job is to relocate so I can get to without hurting myself.

Cewoz, my macerator pump is is mounted below my battery switches (just replaced mine). Capt Bill, thanks for all your replies. In regards to the live well, I was able to free up my livewell Y-valve and can now switch between raw water washdown and livewell. I'll have to relocate it as getting to the valve is tough. Maybe I can find where the livewell toggle switch goes and replace the manual valve with a powered version.
