Portofino Wing Vent Gasket

Postby tcollins2 » Mon Dec 30, 2019 11:29 am

I'm looking for the gasket that is used to seal up the wing/side vent windows on the Portofino. I called around and Taylormade says they can't identify it.
Does anyone have any information about this gasket? It's foam. It goes in the the little window with the D-handles. I assume Taylormade made the windshield but they are looking for a model number. I can't imagine it's not Taylormade, they have the external hinge gasket, they have the D-handles, they have the adjuster arms, but no gasket. The website shows 3 foam gaskets, but none are what I have. Does anyone have a model number of their
Portofino windshield or manufacturer?

They didn't have it. Said to call Taylormade.
Taylor made said they don't make it.
Anyone have a contact who might make this from scratch?

Google “push in window gasket” and go to “images” to look at various extrusions in foam and rubber. I saw several that might work depending their size. You might need to use a little rubber gasket maker to help out at the corners
