Replacing Diaphragm pump

I have a 1997 238 coastal W/A . My freshwater shower head and cabin faucets do not bring any water. I can hear the pump turn on when I flip the switch but no water. I have found the pump but can’t easily get to it through the access door in the cabin. Is there another way to get at the pump? If the pump turns on does that necessarily mean it’s operating and I need to look somewhere else to fix

I realize it's kinda late... but not answered-

WellCraft's style in earlier years, at least as I've found, was to mount water pumps in spots that weren't exactly reachable, but on a base that sat in some secure spot on the floor... so that once the hoses were disconnected from other places, they can be uses to pull the pump out for service. PUtting it back is simply a matter of pushing the assembly back in, with a pole or paddle, or pulling it through with hoses.

Frequently, these pumps will have their one-way valves fouled with minerals or crud, making 'em operate is often just a matter of disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly. Replacing the diapragm isn't difficult, but getting a replacement is sometimes the biggest challenge.
