Hello all. I did do a search however came up empty. So it may seem the 87 192 must not be so popular. Any who. I would love to find a wire diagram for the entire boat. I or well my brothers boat has some guages that dont work. and instead of tearing the whole boat apart would be nice to trace them. I am sure its simple fixes but any help would be awesome. I just hope this isnt a dead forum. Allot of learning being his first real boat.

I would agree on the forum. The boat was probably built with abyc color coded wire. Google it for a color key. Your probably not going to find a proper wiring diagram.

I was able to find somewhat of a wire diagram. Now the issue I have or we have is finding out which spot is NO 1 on the cap itself. i know the firing order but still would be nice. of course my brother didnt follow the proper steps. you ever heard of a new starter spinning the engine the wrong way. bc thats what happened after we bought a new starter.

Pull #1 plug out. Engage starter just a touch at a time while having your finger in the #1 plug hole. When you feel compression building stop. Then use a breaker bar to continue to turn over the engine just enough to get the timing mark to zero. Then pull off the dist cap and where the rotor is pointing is the #1 position.
