2010 210 fisherman nav light issues

2010 210 fisherman nav light issues

Hello and thanks in advance for any help I have 2010 210 fisherman and I'm having an issue with my nav lights whenever I put the switch on wiring to the starboard side aft inside the inspection port is shorting I can see smoke but cannot see where it's coming from. Has anyone had this issue or no what wires run from the nav lights back there there is currently no navigation lights located back there

You would prob have a wire running to rear white pole light socket?
