I’m a new owner and just beginning to figure out my boat. There is a switch labeled “Courtesy lights” on the aft, starboard gunnel, near the transom pass through of my 2004 Coastal 252. What lights is this switch supposed to control? It does not function in any position.

Also, which switch controls the two light panels on the inside of the hard top?

The aft switch controls the lights in the hardtop. It is actually a three way switch as there is another switch on the dash for these lights as well (at least that is how my 2005 252 Coastal is configured).
